Amoré Dear is a multifaceted actress, event coordinator, model, musician, and entrepreneur whose career bridges the worlds of performance, production, and creativity. Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee—a city renowned for its musical heritage—Amoré’s passion for storytelling and community building is deeply influenced by her upbringing.

Her love for music began with the viola, which she played in symphonies for over a decade. Inspired by the soulful sounds of blues and R&B introduced to her by her grandfather, Amoré developed an ear for rhythm and harmony that would later shape her artistic vision. This foundation fueled her work with Renaissance Certified, where she has hosted Certified Lounge (a Tiny Desk-inspired event) and Street Certified (personal street interviews) while planning and coordinating musical hip-hop and R&B showcases. Through these events, Amoré creates authentic spaces for people to connect with extraordinary music and embrace their individuality.

As an actress, Amoré has appeared in feature films such as This House, Eye of the Catfish, and ENDURE, as well as on Name That Tune (featured on Hulu). She has also been featured in music videos with stars like Post Malone, Blake Shelton, and Stephen Sanchez. She has also modeled and styled for Rema Active Fitness line and personal projects.  Amoré’s commitment to her craft is underscored by her training at Fourth Wall Acting Studio and her participation in masterclasses with industry icons like Samuel L. Jackson, Shonda Rhimes, and Issa Rae.

Amoré’s event coordination expertise spans from her college years at Middle Tennessee State University, where she organized corporate events for organizations such as Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) initiatives, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., to producing signature music showcases and curating dynamic cultural experiences.  Amoré carries these lessons into every project, knowing that, as Maya Angelou also said, “People may not remember your name, but they will remember how you made them feel.”

Beyond her accomplishments in entertainment and events, Amoré is the founder of Cocoa Shea by Amoré, a Shea body butter brand dedicated to celebrating natural beauty and empowering Black women to embrace their authenticity.

Amoré draws inspiration from the incredible women who have shaped her journey. Her mother instilled in her the value of creating memorable experiences, Queen Latifah ignited her passion for acting, and Maya Angelou remains a guiding light with her timeless wisdom: “If you’re always trying to be normal, you’ll never know how amazing you can be.”

Now actively seeking collaborations with creatives, producers, directors, and fellow actors, Amoré is committed to fostering creativity, self-expression, and personal growth. Whether performing, producing events, or inspiring through her entrepreneurial ventures, Amoré strives to leave an indelible mark, creating art and experiences that uplift, connect, and resonate deeply with others.
